Ayelaagbe Advises Yewa Youths To Establish Central Body In Their Towns

AJILETE-YEWA – The Ag. President, Yewa Youth Association, Comrade Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe, has called on the youths in Yewaland that have not establish a central youth body to do so or call for the group assistance to help achieve this goal.

According to a release e-signed and made available to StarTrend Int’l magazine & online – www.startrendinternational.com by Comrade Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe, who is also Chairman, Ogun State Youth Council, stated this on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Ajilete Town Hall, Ajilete-Yewa, Ogun State.

The meeting which had in attendance fifty (50) youths that represented different Central Youth Organisations across Yewa South, Imeko Afon, Yewa North, and Ipokia local governments received reports of activities from different towns’ Youth organizations.
Ayelaagbe charged members to be up and doing towards the development of their towns and Yewaland.

His words, “I want to use this medium to charge those who have not establish a central youth body in their respective towns to do so or call for our assistance anytime any day to help out to achieve this.”

At the meeting four people to represent YYA and the Youth of Yewaland on the Yewa Culture and Tourism Advancement Board as requested by YPDC were nominated.

The meeting also discussed extensively on the association’s three forthcoming programmes; (a) Yewa Youth Leadership Summit; (b) Yewa Youth Career Talk for Secondary school students in Yewaland; (c) Yewa Youth Stop the Crime Campaign in the secondary schools and Artisans meeting places/workshops across Yewaland.

A technical committee comprising seasoned educational administrators and passionate Youth leaders from four local government areas of Yewaland were also set up to look into modalities of effective actualization if these programmes, beginning from October 2022.

The meeting also deliberated on different skill acquisition and empowerment programmes of the Federal and State governments, and those of individual philanthropist that was extended to the youth structures.

Members were however advised to apply for the programmes and relate with Youth Council Coordinators in their LGA for updates.

Ayelaagbe however look forward to members of the association’s usual unflinching support with a view to bring its lofty idea to fruition.
