In an effort to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of the Yewa community, a sensitization meeting was held at Yewa College Ilaro on September 20, 2023.
The meeting aimed to raise awareness and garner support for the upcoming Yewa Cultural Festival, scheduled to take place on October 14, 2023.Chaired by Prince Olaleye, a prominent figure in the Yewa community, the meeting brought together community leaders, cultural enthusiasts, teachers, clubs and societies.
The gathering served as a platform to discuss the significance and objectives of the Yewa Cultural Festival and to encourage active participation from various stakeholders. Prince Olaleye, in his opening remarks, highlighted the importance of preserving Yewa’s rich cultural heritage and passing it on to future generations.
