A member of the Ketu Advancement Forum, KAF, a group that rallies Ketu stakeholders for socio-economic development, Gbenga Fabuyi, says the new monarch is expected to play active roles in the affairs of Ketu Obas and all activities geared towards the development of Ketuland.

“We need the entire Ijakaland to be firmly integrated into the affairs of Ketuland. There is no doubt that the new Agbaigba will deploy his enormous wealth of experience and energy into achieving this, especially because his predecessor on the throne had laid a good foundation for this to happen.

“It is a delight that the coronation of Oba Osolo 1, is coming at the verge of the simultaneous completion of the World Bank Rural Electrification Project in Ijaka – Oke and 52 other towns and communities in Yewa North by the State Government. This represents a good omen of more good things to follow the enthronement of Kabiyesi.”

Fabuyi further tasked the monarch to engender innovations that would enhance the conducive environment in the community and enjoin him to use his position to complement the state government’s effort by attracting more development to the town and it environs, to further raise the status of the state as food basket of the nation.
