The Chairman of the Council, Hon Gabriel Ogunyomi, who stated this while speaking with newsmen in Ayetoro, headquarters of the council, said the location of the health centre would put an end to the stress experienced by residents at accessing health care services.
He expressed optimism that the gesture would be replicated in other wards that have no health centre in the council area, calling for the support and cooperation of residents to take ownership of the facility for the overall wellness of the people.
"Our administration is concerned about the delivery of efficient healthcare in a conducive environment. Let me assure you that this initiative would cut across the length and breadth of our Local Government Area", he said.
Speaking in the same vein, the trio of Baale of Imoto-Yewa, Chief Olusegun Orisada, Mesdames Yemisi Bolugbe and Anu Idowu commended the strides of the council authority on the choice of project, saying it would have a direct impact on the people’s well-being.Lateef Akintunde,
