Earlier last week, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Mutiu Adedemeji Oyede-Lawal, Adukunu I, the Oloola of Ilara, warmly welcomed the National Executive of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES) National Body to his palace. The delegation was ably led by the National President, Comr. Tella Faruq Ayobami.
In his address, the National President expressed profound gratitude to His Majesty for the honor and opportunity to visit the palace. He introduced the national executives and highlighted the programs and initiatives planned by the association to foster unity, academic excellence, and development across Yewaland.
His Royal Majesty, in his response, commended the NAYES executives for their dedication to the growth and welfare of Yewa students. He encouraged them to maintain a balance between their academic pursuits and their commitment to selfless service for the progress of Yewaland. His Majesty reassured the delegation of the unwavering support of the royal fathers in Yewaland and urged them to proceed confidently with their planned programs.
The Oloola of Ilara emphasized the importance of students respecting and upholding the dignity of traditional institutions in Yewaland. He warned that any act of disregard toward royal fathers would be met with appropriate consequences. His Majesty further reiterated his readiness to support the association in achieving its objectives.
