On Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the National President of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES), Comr. Prince Faruq Tella, alongside the NAYES Chief Whip, Sen.Sen Philip Oluwatosin, joined His Majesty, Olofin Adimula Oòduà of Ado-Odo, Alayeluwa Oba Olusola Idris Adebowale Lamidi-Osolo, and Oba Itu Olasunkanmi Yusuf Oladejinde, the Onigboko of Igboko, at the Yewa Unity Football Match organized by the Yewa Youth Association (YYA).
The thrilling match between Ado-Odo FC and Gboko FC ended with a 2-1 victory, marking another step towards fostering unity and sportsmanship among the youth in Yewaland.
This initiative serves as a powerful tool for community bonding, strengthening the ties among the people of Yewaland through healthy competition and mutual respect. The presence of esteemed royal fathers and youth leaders further underscores the importance of unity, development, and youth engagement in the region.
The NAYES President commended the efforts of the Yewa Youth Association (YYA) in promoting peace and harmony through sports and reaffirmed NAYES’ commitment to youth empowerment and community development.
