NAYES KICKS Off EDUCATIONAL SENSITIZATION PROGRAM & FREE JAMB FORM DISTRIBUTION AT IPOKIA SECONDARY SCHOOLS

Earlier this week, on Monday, 10th of February 2025, the leadership of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES) National Body, ably led by Prince Faruq Tella, commenced their Educational Sensitization Program and Free JAMB Form Distribution for secondary school students in Ipokia Local Government.

As part of its commitment to empowering the students constituency, NAYES, under the guidance of the Yewa Traditional Council and the Yewa People Development Council (YPDC), embarked on this initiative to educate SS2 and SS3 students across various schools. The program, themed “Enhancing Academic Success and Future Prospects,” is aimed at preparing students for their academic journey and future careers.

Upon arrival in Ipokia, the NAYES delegation received royal blessings from His Royal Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Yisa Olusola Adeniyi Olaniyan, the Onipokia of Ipokia Land, a strong supporter of education and youth empowerment. His Majesty, who has always shown genuine love for students, encouraged the Association to continue its good work in fostering academic excellence.

In his address, NAYES National President, Prince Faruq Tella enlightened the students on their significance for prosperity of Yewaland and its people. He emphasized the crucial role of education in the region’s development and how students can contribute to its growth.

He further advised students on the importance of accurate arrangement of their names in all academic records to avoid issues during admission, The right approach to choosing a course based on individual strengths, interests, and career aspirations rather than peer pressure and how these courses can lead to personal success and the overall development of Yewaland.

To support students in their academic pursuit, NAYES National Body, under the leadership of Prince Faruq Tella, awarded four (4) free JAMB forms per school to assist deserving students in furthering their education.

The program received immense support from Com. Taiwo Obanla, the SA on Media to the Ogun State Chief of Staff, a committed leader passionate about making positive changes in Yewaland. His presence and encouragement further inspired the students in our region.

The NAYES leadership visited the following schools in Ipokia Local Government: Iko Gateway Grammar School, Idiroko, District High School, Ipokia, Agosasa Secondary School.

The Educational Sensitization Program & Free JAMB Form Distribution will continue across other local governments in Yewaland, reaffirming NAYES’ commitment to academic excellence and student empowerment.
