ADO-ODO /OTA LG CHAIRMAN REELS OUT ACHIEVEMENTS, COMMISSIONS PROJECTS

Determined to improve the socio-economic well-being of the residents of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, the council Chairman, Engr. Sheriff Musa has given accounts of his stewardship, with the commissioning of a block of two and three classrooms at Local Government Primary School, Ketere, Sango-Ota, and A.U.D Primary School Iju, Ota respectively.

Others were a detached toilet facility at St. Thomas (RCM) Primary School,

renovated Ado-Odo/Ota Legislative Chamber, Grading of roads within constituencies 1 & 2 in Ado-Odo/Ota, among others.

Speaking at the commissioning of the projects, Engr. Sheriff said achievements were in fulfilment of his electioneering promises to deliver dividends of democracy to the people, noting that his administration appreciated the support of Governor Dapo Abiodun Executive Council members of the Local Government, traditional and religious leaders, among others for the achievements recorded.

“These projects were carefully selected to improve the living standard of residents in this council area I want to assure people my administration will not relent in the delivery of more developmental projects in communities’’, he said.

Also speaking, the Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof). Abdulkabir Obalanlege, lauded the developmental strides of the council Chairman, urging him to remain focused, in order to deliver more impactful projects to the people.

In their remarks, Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Dr. Adebola Bamgbose stated that diligence and team spirit had remained their watchword for the worthwhile success of Engr. Sheriff Musa-led administration within three years.

Also speaking the trio of Baales of Atan-Ota, Baale of Erinle, Samson Akano, Baale Egando Ajidigin, Biliaminu Salami and Baale Oyawole, Eleku Ajani appreciated the council boss for the choice of projects, while the Iyaloja of Atan, Chief Mrs. Abosede Isiyemi enjoined the market women and men to ensure adequate maintenance of the projects.
