Governor Dapo Abiodun on Christmas day, approved the elevation of Dr. Oluwatoyin Taiwo, his Deputy Chief of Staff, as the Substantive Chief of Staff.
The news of Dr. Taiwo’s elevation to the position was unveiled after the celebration of Christmas with the Governor and his family, at his hometown, Iperu, in Ikene Local Government Area of the State.
The substantive Chief of Staff was the Deputy Chief of Staff since the Governor’s second term administration. Dr. Taiwo was a former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism during the first term of the Governor in the State.
A product of Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife (OAU), he hails from Ifonyintedo in the Ipokia Local Government area of the state, and he is a thorough bred professional and consummate politician, who had previously contested to represent his people at Ifonyintedo, Ipokia Local Government Area at the State House of Assembly on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
