The Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) Scholarship/Bursary Awards Board has shortlisted eligible applicants among those who submitted applications for the 2024/2025 Scholarship and Bursary Award. The two categories of shortlisted applicants are those eligible for Scholarship and Bursary Award from various public tertiary institutions across the country.
The shortlisted applicants are enjoined to check the list under this release for their names and proceed for screening scheduled to hold from Wednesday 26th February to Saturday 1st March at the Ashade Agunloye pavilion, Ilaro, Ogun state beginning from 9am everyday.
All shortlisted applicants are to appear for physical screening and verification of documents except students who may choose virtual appearance due to distance and other factors
Applicants in this category are enjoined to send their credentials to yayischolarship@gmail.com and await response which must be printed out and submitted as a condition for receiving payment.
The following are the documents required for verification:
- Duly signed local government certificate of origin obtained from the local government secretariat in the state.
- JAMB admission letter.
- School identity card.
- Printout of 2023/2024 academic session results from the institution’s portal or evidence of current CGPA duly signed and stamped from the academic affairs office (FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS ONLY).
The list of eligible applicants for the Bursary category will be released shortly.
