The highly anticipated Yewa Youth Unity Cup is set to flag off on February 11th, 2025. This exciting football tournament aims to promote unity, friendship, and healthy competition among the youth in Yewa communities.
The Unity Cup, initiated by Yewa Youth Association (YYA), approved by Yewa Traditional Council (YTC) and proudly supported by Yewa People Development Council (YPDC), promises to be an electrifying event, bringing together talented young footballers from across the region.
According to the Deputy Secretary-General of Yewa Youth Association, who doubles as the Chairman of the Planning Committee, Com. Olusesan Lekan Olatunji “The Yewa Youth Unity Cup is more than just a football tournament. It’s an opportunity for our young people to come together, build relationships, and showcase their talents”. “The flag-off ceremony will hold simultaneously at Ado-Odo, Ayetoro, Ikolaje-Idiroko, Ijoun, Imeko, and some other Yewa towns on February 11th, 2025 and feature special guests, including Government officials, traditional rulers, Community leaders, and eminent sons and daughters of Yewaland.
