NAYES NATIONAL PRESIDENT- ELECT JOINS HRM ONIPOKIA OF IPOKIA LAND, OGITECH RECTOR, AND TASUED REGISTRAR AT THE 1ST OGITECH YEWA INDIGENOUS ASSOCIATION PROGRAM

On December 12, 2024, the National President-Elect of the National Association of Yewa Students (NAYES) National Body, Comrade Tella Faruq, proudly honored an invitation to attend the monumental 3-in-1 Program organized by the OGITECH Yewa Indigenous Association. The event, held at the E-Library Building, ICT OGITECH campus, was a historic gathering dedicated to promoting unity, education, and leadership among the sons and daughters of Yewaland.

The program featured a thought provoking lecture delivered by an erudite orator and administrator Ajiroba Dapo Oke, FCAI, FISN, Registrar of TASUED, on the theme: “Ogun West: Victim of Imbalance Political Structures, Conspiracy, and Compromise.” Chief Ajiroba Dapo Oke gave a powerful and insightful presentation, shedding light on the socio-political challenges faced by Ogun West. His address served as a call to action, urging young leaders and stakeholders to unite and work towards achieving equity and progress for Yewaland.

In his remarks, the Rector of OGITECH, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, applauded the organizers, led by Comrade Paul Igbagboyemi Oladeyi (Ag. Aare), for their impactful initiative. He emphasized the significance of the program in awakening the consciousness of Yewa sons and daughters to address historical setbacks. Dr. Oluseye further stressed the importance of supporting capable Yewa sons and daughters to attain leadership positions as a means of ensuring the region’s growth and representation.

The Royal Father of the Day, His Royal Majesty Oba Yisa Olusola Adeniyi Olaniyan, the Onipokia of Ipokia Land, graced the occasion, He commend the association’s efforts in uniting the staff, students, lovers of Yewaland for fostering development in Yewaland. The Onipokia assured everyone that the Royal Fathers across Yewaland are actively contributing to the region’s progress and working towards ensuring that Yewaland attains its rightful position in Ogun State leadership.

The event marked a remarkable milestone in fostering dialogue and inspiring action for the betterment of Yewaland. It was a day of celebration, learning, and commitment to the shared vision of progress for the region.

The program was attended by notable individuals, including: Principal officers, Former Rector, Deen’s, Staff’s and Students of the institutions, Com. Idris Bamgboye, NAYES National Treasurer, Com. Abdul Azeem Akintola, NAYES National Sports Director, Com. Sunday Abigail, OGITECH NAYES AGS, Com. Peter Lasilo (Lash), NAYES OGITECH Stakeholder, and among others .
