EWEKORO LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAPTER OF YEWA YOUTH ASSOCIATION HOLDS END OF THE YEAR AND HORTA DAY PARTY, AS PARTICIPANTS WERE URGED TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS AND MAKE YEWALAND DEVELOPMENT A PRIORITY
On Sunday 10th November, 2024, I represented the National executive of Yewa Youth Association (YYA), at the YYA Ewekoro Local Government chapter End of the Year and Horta Day Party which was held at Sharp Corner, Itori Ewekoro.
In my address, I appreciated Ewekoro Local Government chapter of Yewa Youth Association for the incredible work they have been doing in promoting the values and interests of Yewaland within Ewekoro Local Government and beyond. I charged them as ambassadors of Yewaland to continue being exemplary representatives of our great heritage and always strive to promote unity, understanding, and progress among themselves and always assist each others without forgetting to always engage in Community Development initiatives that improve the lives of residents in Ewekoro local government and always ensure they take their children to the homeland for annual festivals and other festivities to link up with their land.
The event had in attendance notable Yewa sons and daughters in Ewekoro local government including Baale of Yewa in Ewekoro LGA, Chief Akanji Sise Isiah, President Ewekoro Yewa Youth Association, Com. Fayomi Sunday, executive member of Yewa Youth Ewekoro, Different chapters of Yewa Youth, etc.
